Fleance is the name of Banquo's son in the play "Macbeth" by William Shakespeare (Baptized April 26, 1564 - April 23, 1616).

Specifically, Fleance survives the attempt on his life and that of his father Banquo in Act III Scene III of the play. According to legend, he makes it across the border with England and travels southwards all the way to Wales. There, he marries into the Welsh royal family and becomes the ancestor of the Stuart kings of England and Scotland.

Who does Macbeth have to murder to keep one of the witches prophecies from coming true?

The wrong people. In order to thwart the prophecy about Banquo's children becoming kings, he has Banquo killed, but not his son Fleance. Fleance will go on to become the ancestor of kings. Macbeth killed the father when he should have killed the son. Then, in order to try to thwart the prophecy about Macduff, he has Macduff's son (and wife and other children) murdered. Macduff will go on to defeat Macbeth. Macbeth killed the son when he should have killed the father.

What is the effection of Macbeth of duncans announcent?

Macbeth has secret ambitions to be king. At that point in Scottish history, a monarch could be elected. As the king's cousin and a victorious general, Macbeth had a very good chance of achieving his ambition. Ön his way back from the battle, he met the 3 witches who prophesied that he would be king, and he decided to let matters take their course: "If chance would have me king, then chance might crown me without my stir". However, shortly after meeting Duncan, the latter announces that his son, Malcolm, will be king after him, thus dashing Macbeth's hopes. This is where Macbeth starts to seriously entertain thoughts of murdering the king.

When Macbeth is killed who is the next king?

In the Shakespeare play, Macbeth is succeeded by Malcolm, son of Duncan. Macduff says to him, "Hail, king, for so thou art." The historical reality was somewhat different. The historical Macbeth was succeeded after a long and mostly peaceful reign of 17 years, by his stepson Lulach (that's Lady Macbeth's son) who was unfortunately not so successful.
