The date a consumer would receive a "30 days past due" notice would be on the billing date following the one missed. The CC would be double billing for that month and the previous month would be 30 days late.

How long does it take for negative information to be reported to the credit bureaus and show up on your credit report?

If it's over 30 days late in the credit card payment due to lost statement and credit card company waives the late fee and charges will this affect the credit report?

The credit report does not include late payments unless you are over 60 days, and it is really generally up to the credit card company to write it in. Most credit reports i have read are: account holder, when opened, when closed, who closed the account (you or them) how much was granted, how much was borrowed, how much you still owed. The monthly payments are usually in some check-like form where you can barely distinguish each and every date if you really try hard. If the credit card company is going to waive the fee for it, it is like it never happened. I can almost be positive that it will NEVER reach your credit report.

If a credit card payment made just 4 days late can the payment legally be reported as 30 days late?

Yes. But if the account holder has been in good standing and tis is the first late payment, it probably won't be reported. 4 days late can legally be reported as "past due" on your credit report, but this is unlikely. The account cannot be reported as 30 days late unless it is ACTUALLY 30-59 days past due. Each creditor is different. Some report from last pay date, some report from last due date.

How do you remove a false charge off date from your credit report if the date was reset from the original?

You can have a credit dispute, if the agency reporting the bad judgment does not get back with the company disputing the judgment within 30 days, it HAS to be removed from your credit report. Example: I filed bankruptcy(?) on a auto repo. and the company did not take it off my credit report, I had my credit card company do a credit dispute, they did not respond within 30 days, and it was removed from my credit report.
