Has anyone heard anything about Brasler Financial Group?

I don't know if this is a legit company. There is no phone # on their website; it states they are located in Milwaukee; there is no phone listing for any "Brasler" in the state of Wisconsin.

I believe it is a scam....Try not to do business with them.....

I just spoke with someone at Brasler Financial, there is a web site....www.braslerfinancialgroup.com. I have a contact number for a Carla: 1-877-834-7015 ext. 278. If anybody for sure knows anything about this company, some helpful insides would be great. thanks..........

I just run a "WHOIS" on the site. If I read it right, the site was just created 2-3 weeks ago. The site is registered in Canada (area code 416-Niagara falls area). if you do a search on braslerfinancialgroup.com, nothing will come up.

They said I was approved for a $10K loan 7.9%/5 years. But they wanted up front money for security. I told them I was interested, please send me the loan papers. It took them 2 days to do so; the phone # and extension you got was the same I received on the header page.

When I received the docs, I looked them over carefully. I noticed a few things incorrect and there were some spelling errors (3 times - PRINCIPLE not PRINCIPAL).

The monthly payments were stated at $99.01 per month (which was correct, verified by outside source); but the total interest paid and total amount to be paid back were less than the actual amounts (WATCH OUT!!). There was a clause in the documents stating I was to keep paying even after the loan was paid in full.

There was an "insurance" rider on the last page. The cost of the premium was $2900 for a $5000 loan (RED FLAG). There was no Regulation Z (Truth in Lending) or similar page. The contract did not have any information about where to send the payments; type of payments accepted, etc.

I send them back the papers (NOT SIGNED!!) with my questions.
