Through the turmoil and the hundreds of mortgage companies that have literally, CLOSED THEIR DOORS, over the last two years, This company is still in business. They are a medium sized company based out of Rhode Island. Each company employs sales people to work directly with consumers on their loans and financial offerings. Like any company, the sales force, is the face that deals directly with consumers. Unfortunately, there are loan officers who have done shady things in the recent past, that has effected the economy and the housing market in a very negative way. However, at the same time, there were consumers, who did the same.
Most mortgage lenders who are still in business today are those that were able to survive throughout the most difficult financial turmoil our nation has seen in a long time, if not ever.
In all the research I have done, I have found that AFS is a legitimate company and possess the capability to successfully and beneficially offer financial services, that adhere to the federally and locally mandated guidelines.
