Can goldfish eat a dead plecostomos in a tank I think mine did while I was on holiday it must have died I noticed it had gone but there was carcus parts in the tank?
It is quite probable that your goldfish have eaten your Plecco. They should not be kept together anyway so it was only a matter of time before the Plecco died. Plecostomus are a tropical species and should be kept above 75F. There are several coldwater catfish species so next time use one of them instead.
