Yes, fish can change color when they go into shock due to stress or environmental changes. This color change is often a response to stressors such as low oxygen levels, temperature fluctuations, or handling. The change is typically caused by the contraction or expansion of pigment cells in their skin, which can either darken or lighten their appearance. Additionally, some species may display warning colors or patterns in response to distress.
Fish oil should not cause a change in the color of your bowels. It may affect how often you go to the bathroom.

Yes and no. It's really more about how quickly the changes come about. A very quick change of as little as 5 degrees can kill a particularly sensitive fish but if the change were to happen a couple if degrees every 15 minutes or so the fish would survive a wide range of temperatures. Some Bettas are able to live well in 50 F water and also in 90+F water. In the wild some of the small ditches these fish live in can get to over 110 F and the fish live through it. It's all about the speed of the change.

You can simply fill up a cooler with your pond water and move the fish. Once you get to the new home, slowly add the new water to the cooler because the fish will go into shock from the immediate temperature change. The process should take around 20 to 30 minutes.

Yes, fish sauce can go bad and become unsafe to consume if it is not stored properly or if it is past its expiration date. It can develop a sour smell, change in color, or mold growth, indicating that it is no longer safe to eat.
