Filters work in few different ways depending on the type. There are three types of filtration mechanical, biological and chemical. Mechanical is the most common as it works off sucking up water and debris and passing the water through a filter pad which stops and collects the debris but allows the water to return to the tank. Biological works similarly but instead works on letting the water pass through good bacteria to kill bad bacteria and replenish the good in the water.
yes. they are nice, small, keep the water clean. but not big enough for most fish.
Filters keep the water clean for the fish, kind of like we need clean air to breath properly. Also, filters keep the tank clean by (yep you guessed it) filtering the water. I hope this helped^^
Yes. You should keep your filters and aerators on all the time. This will allow for continuous cleaning and oxygen to penetrate your water. Your fish will be happier and healthier.
well not really because fish cant do that but yes only for a little bit
No.
fish tank
You have to add food to keep them alive.
A Plecosotmus is a freshwater fish in Central and South America. This species of fish is known as the "sucker fish". They are well known for their uncanny ability to keep tanks clean from algae or any other unwanted debris.
Of course not
Well surge protectors are usually safe if not overloaded. Keep them away from hazards, and do not submerge them in fish tanks. If they are placed in fish tanks the fish would die.
Fish have an gas-filled, internal swim bladder, whose buoyancy they regulate to keep from sinking or rising in the water.
Yes, as long as you have a filter and a heater. Most breeder tanks have partitions that can be removed.
