Which kind? Glass or acrylic?
It weights more than 400 lbs. Empty ! Full of water, rocks, decorations and fish will weigh estimated 1 & 1/2 tons
find an empty gallon of milk bottle. There you are.
It would weigh just over 1600 pounds
A 100-gallon fish tank weighs approximately 834 pounds when filled with water. The weight of the tank itself can vary depending on the material it is made of, but the water alone would weigh around 8.35 pounds per gallon.
Empty, probably around 30-50 pounds (guessing) -- Full with ONLY water, it will weigh about 850 pounds. Full with water, gravel, and decorations, it will weigh more.
10.34
The rule of thumb is usually a gallon per fish, so six gallons would be good. If the fish are on the large side (like a goldfish), then a seven gallon tank would be ideal.
50 gallons
If the tank is actually filled to the brim (tanks never are) the water would weigh 8.35lbs x 30gallons which is 250.5 lbs. To obtain an accurate total weight you would have to add in the weight of the sand/gravel substrate, and the rocks (decore) and the weight of the empty tank. Then you would subtract the weight of the top 1 inch or so that is always left empty.
The simple answer to this question is that the consumption of any matter gives the approximate weight of that matter to the entity that has consumed it. If you drink a gallon of fish oil, until you excrete or otherwise remove it from your form you will weigh the additional gallon of fish oil.
1000 Minutes require to fill 10000 gallon pond
A betta fish would be much more suited to a 1 gallon tank than a 'variety'. You shouldn't keep much more than one fish per gallon anyway.
