It weights more than 400 lbs. Empty !
Full of water, rocks, decorations and fish will
weigh estimated 1 & 1/2 tons
A 29 gallon tank may weigh about 40 pounds when empty, and more than 300 pounds when filled with water (and that's without gravel and decorations!)
right around 400#.... water is about 8# per gallon.
Full or empty? If empty, about 110 - 120 lb. If full, about 1045 lb. -- Just remember saltwater is less dense and therefore lighter than freshwater, so an aquarium filled with salt would weigh more. Also, you must take into consideration interior additives such as substrate, rocks and other solids, if you are trying to calculate the weight bearing of a floor or stand.
it would weigh about 450 pounds. could you and2 of your friends stand there?
A glass frog can jump 6,975 feet high in the air and is the record for the highest jumping frog.
50 gallons
Which kind? Glass or acrylic?
Roughly 8.5 lbs per gallon. You do the Math.
Weigh an empty container; pour a gallon of water into it. Weigh it again. Calculate the difference. That is the weight of the gallon of water.

1 gallon of water = 10 pounds so the water in the tank is 3000 pounds but all the rocks and decor take up space so there is less then 300 gallons of water but the decor and stuff weighs more then water
the weight of the tank will be about 100 pounds

Empty and made of glass, it weighs about ten pounds. Filled with only water and made of glass, it weighs about 135 pounds. Filled with water, substrate, and decorations, it will weigh about 150 pounds. Picking up an aquarium that is filled with water is a very stupid thing to attempt. Even if you can handle the sloshing weight, the aquarium can not. If you do try to move an aquarium while full, please have a friend videotape it for youtube. Water weighs 8.345404 per gallon.
Depends on the size of the aquarium. Water weights 10 pounds per gallon.
like 12ounces
Empty, probably around 30-50 pounds (guessing) -- Full with ONLY water, it will weigh about 850 pounds. Full with water, gravel, and decorations, it will weigh more.
