I don't statistically know, but I personally think they are.
Overfishing can lead to the depletion of fish populations, disrupting marine ecosystems and impacting the food chain. It can also threaten the livelihoods of fishermen and communities dependent on fishing. Additionally, overfishing can result in negative economic impacts, reduced food security, and loss of biodiversity.
Overfishing occurs when fish are caught at a rate faster than they can reproduce, leading to a decline in fish populations. This can result in empty nets for fishermen, diminished biodiversity, and the collapse of marine ecosystems. Indicators of overfishing include smaller catch sizes, the prevalence of juvenile fish in catches, and changes in species composition. Additionally, it can lead to increased competition for dwindling resources and negative impacts on coastal communities that rely on fishing for their livelihoods.
Overfishing is caused by people catching too many fish, and then there ain't too many fish left. I think, however, that you meant results. Because your question makes no sense.
Over fishing started about in the 1950's. since then it has largley increaed cause of the growing numbers of illegal fishermen. And now a group calles Dinuka gergouse hadusinghe known as PLumika is stopping this. this is the worst threat our ocean can face.

This cannot be answered. This does not make any sense.
Well they think it is natural and healthy so shops will buy it and sell it
overfishing, and fishes getting traped in abandoned nets
The Gulf of Cortez, the inside of the Baja peninsula has been over fished by illegal shark fishing. The top predator has been nearly wiped out. Now large schools of Humbolt Squid are attacking anything that is swimming in the water, including people. In the Mediterranean, generational fishermen are starting to go away because of overfishing of Tuna. It's the only thing they know how to do but their ancestors didn't have the high tech equipment we have today, so they have caught too many and now this generation of fishermen are under strict quotas, which mean less money. Cod used to be so abundant in the waters off of New England, it was THE fish. Now Cod is a regulated fishery. In Florida, the tourist fishing industry is so important that they regulate a lot of species of fish. Some I bet you've never even heard of. Look up Florida's fishing regulations. This is all due to overfishing.
well a dolphin could get a plastic can ring stuck on his throat and die from suffocate caused by the plastic can ring.
people who fish should have a laces for fishing and NOT overfishing
