The North American plate covers Haiti. It is a major tectonic plate that also includes parts of North America, Greenland, and the Atlantic Ocean.
Gills can be located both externally and internally, depending on the species. In many aquatic animals, such as fish, gills are typically found on the sides of the head, covered by a bony plate called the operculum. However, some organisms, like certain amphibians and mollusks, may have external gills that are visible outside the body. These structures function to extract oxygen from water.
operculum ( plural ; operculi ) is actually gill cover or lid of a cavity having gills . its major function is to protect gills as well as to move water over gills so that gill may be able to extract oxygen from water . as this lid play an important role in moving water over gills so fishes having operculum can survive even if they are stationary . on other hand fishes lacking operculi have to move continuously to survive .all bony fishes have operculi . best example of fish having no operculum is shark.
Shrimp have gills as their respiratory system. Their gills extract oxygen from the water and release carbon dioxide. The gills are located on the sides of the shrimp's body and are covered by a protective plate called the gill cover or operculum.
The upper jaw of a cartilaginous fish is not attached like it is in bony fish, although both sets of jaws work in the same way. Bony fish have a protective bony plate that covers the gills. Cartilaginous fish lack this covering but have their own way of protecting the gills.

17) Are headlight, tail light/brake light and license plate covers legal for street use inOregon?Answer: No. Headlight and tail/brake light covers do not meet the federal lighting standard (FMVSS 108) and Oregon has adopted the federal standard. Covers alter the light output and also reflectivity of reflex reflectors and may cover up the required square inches of lens and/or reflex reflectors required by FMVSS 108. (ORS 816.010)License plate covers, clear or tinted, are not legal because any material or covering, other than a frame or plate holder, placed on, over or in front of the plate that alters the appearance of the plate, would be illegal. Plate covers, especially tinted ones, alter the visibility of the plate and most importantly, all plate covers alter the reflectivity of the plate. (ORS 803.550).
