I could be wrong but a vitamin is not a lipid. A lipid is a fat. Vitamin A could be a fat soluble vitamin, but I am not sure if it is. According to my Chem book, Vitamin A is a fat-soluble vitamin and is classified as a lipid. The lab book says to puncture a vitamin A capsule or use cod liver oil, so my guess is it is a triacylglycerol, i.e. an oil.
Vitamin C is a type of vitamin that we have to get through eating fruits and vegetables, because our body does not produce this vitamin, for it is water-soluble. Acid present in vitamin C is known as Ascorbic acid, known to enhance a personÕs immune system.

Salmon Oil is good for dogs. Cod Liver Oil can be used, but it is high in Vitamin A which could harm the dog if fed too much.
