There isn't really a varying recipe for steak. It's more about the marinade that you are soaking the round steak in. Combine your ingredients to make the marinade into a bowl. Put the steak and marinade in a plastic bag turning the steak over to coat it. Refrigerate it. Place steak on the grill. Grill to your liking. Some ideas for things to include in your marinade: vinegar, olive oil, thyme, garlic, steak seasoning, red pepper flakes.
A marinade is a liquid that contains ingredients that both add flavor to meat and tenderize it. Food is soaked in the marinade and absorbs the flavor and is softened. Marinades are used when cooking meats like steak, because people prefer steak to be tender when they eat it. Marinades are most commonly used on poultry, steak, and sometimes even tofu, because tofu easily absorbs flavors. They serve an important purpose in many popular recipes around the world.
In my opinion the best type of BBQ sauce or marinade for steak is Masterfoods Red Wine and Garlic marinade. The flavours of this combination are superb, and increase the quality of any quality of steak.

An easy Jack Daniels marinade can be made by mixing 1 mashed garlic clove, 2 teaspoons mustard powder, 1/4 cup Jack Daniels Whiskey and 2 tablespoons canola oil. Just add the steak to the marinade in a plastic bag overnight, leave out for 1 hour before cooking, then cook as you like your steak.
