It is basically Jiffy (or any old bisquick, etc) Biscuit Mix and fruits.

Make the jiffy mix (blueberry works great) normally, as if you were to make biscuits or pancakes (no eggs though), slice fruits (apples, Oranges, bananas, etc) into small squares, roll the fruit squares into the batter.

Deep fry quickly (until just starting to crisp) and remove from the oil, roll in a plate of sugar and cinnamon, and set aside to drain/cool.
