I won't lie, Minnows don't have a very long life-cycle. Minnows are first eggs laid near water plants and rocks. After just a few weeks, the minnows hatch into teeny-tiny fry. (baby minnows). The baby minnows stick together into a tiny school. Keeping each other save and feeding together. After a few more weeks, the fry turn into Adult minnows and separate. However sadly, once they are adults they are eaten my bigger fish, and mammals.Olivia the animal lover
No. Sharks are a species of fish, just like humans are a species of mammal. Apes are also a species of mammal but a baby human cannot grow up to become an ape, and a baby ape cannot become a human. So, cod, bass, ray, etc, are all species of fish, but a baby shark is the only thing which will ever become a shark.
it depends on the location of the minnow if its in a pond with fish the larger fish wil examples bass brim crappie..... if they are in a stream or creek that has no fish crawdads will eat them
Minnow fish reproduce through external fertilization, where the female releases eggs and the male releases sperm into the water simultaneously. The eggs are then fertilized and develop externally before hatching into larvae.
they cannot eat many human foods but i think they can eat bread every few monthes raw fish and raw meat that is uncooked and chopped into small sections and it has to have no seasoning in it but only use the raw fish and meat as a treat feed them that once a week at the most
ha ha gold fish dont eat minnows but if you put them in the same tank they wont be happy toegether trust me im afish expert he he just jokeing i saw it on telivision
if you mean a baby fish, well, the name for a baby fish is a "fry" just like how a baby dog is a "puppy"
Question: What do baby Minnows eat?Answer:They normally eat just about anything, but what I've heard is that they eat fish food, small insects that float on the top of the water, and algae. so if i were you....I'd try it out!!!! Never know what you may find!!! :) hahachelsea and Fisher5000 (I Fisher5000 just improved it. Chelsea did the answer.)Minnows will eat fish pellet's. There called pond pellet's. It depends on how big the minnow is to eat a insect that is floating on the water. Its true that they eat algae too.
Are your referring to what they are called? They are called fry. Some people call them guppies but that is not right. A guppy is a species of fish, not a baby fish. Young or baby fish are usually just called fry, but some sciency types will call them larvae if it is appropriate.
im just guessing here but probs. like the minnows and fish. also the insects some 2. not parasites tho.
Humans but in the ocean, catfish with the barbs removed can be used as live bait in the open seas. There is no 'common' enemy of catfish. They are just as vulnerable as minnows when they are small.
You need to crossbreed as many fish as you can, to get as many different species as you can. Just luck I guess.
