Sausage rolls are not originally Australian; they have British roots, where they are a popular snack made with sausage meat wrapped in pastry. However, they have become a beloved and iconic food in Australia, often enjoyed at parties and events. Over time, Australians have put their own twist on the dish, incorporating various fillings and flavors. Thus, while not native to Australia, sausage rolls are an integral part of Australian cuisine.

Mojo is just the company name. They sell Traditional Australian Meat Pies. It is a flaky pastry filled with a speacial meat sauce. This is as Australian as the Eiffel Tower is to Paris. These pies come in various flavors. Another popular version is the Shepards Pie. it has the same meat sauce, but with mashed potato on top(its just as yummy). Sausage rolls, are flaky pastries filled with a herbed sausage filling, also very Australian. Both the sausage roll and pies come in party sizes, and no Australian party is without our favorite delicacy.
Cooked sausage rolls will stay good in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Uncooked sausage rolls will need to be cooked within 48 hours.

Yes, sausage rolls are popular in bakeries and as shared "finger food" at parties. However, they do not have the same popularity as meat pies.
