The following is not fact, it is merely my own opinion, this type of question warrants that type of disclaimer. In my own opinion, the most amazing things about us humans that set us apart from other animals include: 1) Consciousness, we are aware of our own being. We are aware of our own existence and have the ability to question our existence. 2) We are capable of complex thoughts and mental time travel. We can ask questions like Why and How. We can mentally travel to past experiences and then extrapolate form them when we encounter (or prepare for) similar experiences in the future.

No a fetus is not a baby or a child. It's living on the woman's body and can not live on it's own and therefor is for her to decide over. A child is it's own person and can live on it's own outside of her body.
