Egg drop soup can generally be safe for individuals with diverticulitis, particularly if it's made with low-fiber ingredients and is not overly spicy or rich. However, it's important to listen to your body and consult your healthcare provider for personalized dietary advice, especially during flare-ups. Avoiding high-fiber additives like vegetables or grains may also be wise. Always prioritize hydration and balanced nutrition during recovery.

Yup.
Egg drop soup is a Chinese soup of beaten eggs, chicken broth, and boiled water. Condiments such as salt, pepper, and scallions are also commonly added. The soup is finished by adding a thin stream of beaten eggs to the boiling broth, creating thin, silken strands of cooked egg that float in the soup.

It depends on what kind of vegetarian you are. Vegans do not eat or use ANY animal products or byproducts, including eggs and honey. So they would not eat egg flower soup. Lacto-Vegetarians eat dairy-products, but no other animal products such as meat or eggs, so they would not eat it either. Lacto-Ovo-Vegetarians eat eggs and dairy, but no meat. That is what I am and I would eat egg flower soup as long as it was made with vegetable broth instead of chicken broth. Also, I only eat local, free-range (cage-free) organic eggs and I rarely drink milk, opting for soy milk instead. Hope that helps!
