sorry. they cant <------ Partially true
I do apologize for the long text but I want to be clear of error when disscussing matters of our Islamic way of life .Thank you
That is partially true. so long it does not contain the flesh of swine. As I have first-hand knowledge of the conumably permissable bovine from a company called Muscle Pharm they supply my training materials, they use flesh from the buffalo. This is allowed by Allah Alamin(creator of mankind&jinn,All that exist).I don't believe that the many companies are in the business of Micro catering to every specific need of the consumers, as that would drive the cost of products to become to high, however the buffalo they use was not mentioned to be slaughterd in the procedure of halal causing it to become Zahbiha (killed in accordance with Islamic instructions),we can eat of the food of the people of the book (Jews/Christians)but not of the flesh of swine.
There may be some confliction so I have included the to main Ayats that speak on the issue,Surah 5 Almaidah Ayat:5 explains that we are allowed to eat the flesh of animals that were not slaughtered according to the islamic proceedure. the other is Surah 5 Almaida Ayat:4
Surah 5 Almaida Ayat:5 This day are all things good and pure made lawful unto you. The food of the people of the book is lawful unto you and your's is lawful unto them.
Surah 5.Almaida Ayat:4 They ask thee O' Muhammad (S.A.W) what is lawful to them (as food):(OMuhammad) say: Lawful unto you are (all) things good and pure:and that ye have taught your trained hunting animals (to catch) in the manner directecd to you by Allah; eat what they catch for you but pronounce the name of Allah over it:and fear Allah;for Allah is swift in taking account.
Surah 5 Ayat 3 forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat blood the flesh of swine.
There is more to the above ayat text but is pertained to other than this answere.
yes they are, there is no gelatin in them
Depends on the gelatin. Muslims can eat "K-gelatin", or kosher gelatin, which is from cows. Gelatin from pigs, however, is forbidden. To know which gelatin is in a food product, call the number provided and ask. See the related question below for more information.
Muslims are allowed to eat vegetarian gelatin or gelatin of only animals that are allowed per Islamic religion to eat. If the gelatin is of animals that are not allowed to eat, then it is forbidden, per religion, to be eaten by Muslims. The Muslim who eats the forbidden gelatin is sinful if he eats it intentionally and knowing that it is forbidden.
Yes, bovine gelatin is generally considered safe for consumption, as long as it is sourced from reputable sources and consumed in moderation.
Bovine gelatine
There are a lot of chocolates we can eat, but the ones that have gelatin or glycerin in them we cant eat.
No... Gelatin is a thickening/hardening agent created by boiling animal (bovine) bones.
The Muslims eat only Halal food.
Muslims are not allowed to eat starbursts due to their beliefs. Gelatin that is in starburst candies, are derived from pig or plant in which is not Kosher in their religion.
When it comes to meats, Kosher is not synonymous with Halal, so no, we cannot eat Kosher Gelatin. Gelatin is considered kosher by many Jews regardless of its source of origin. For Muslims, if gelatin is prepared from swine or cows that are not dhabeeha, it is haraam.
No Gelatin is a thickening/hardening agent created by boiling animal (bovine) bones.
Muslims could eat gelatin BUT depending on its origin, theirs two kinds of Gelatin, one that comes from plants, and the other that comes from pig or cows, the one that comes from plants is not Haram meaning it is allowed, but the other is haram or not allowed, to find out of it is or not made from plant or animal call the product maker and ask.
