Yes, you can't drink water with that much salt (sodium chloride) in it, or at least seawater can't be your only source of water. That's why people lost at sea with no drinking water say 'water, water everywhere but not a drop to drink'.

Your body actually gets dehydrated because your cells try to keep the salt concentration the same through out your body (look up osmosis), so water goes out of your cells in to your stomach, intestines. Also the sodium and chloride ions probably effect your body in other ways.

All spot on. However there is another way and probably the most obvious one....you can drown in it
