Yes but i wouldn't advise it, anyway the amount of meat on a hamster is so small that wouldn't be worth the effort to kill, skin, get all the bones out and cook it. (If that is how you like your hamster). On the other hand guinea pigs have more meat on them and they play an important role in the folk culture of many Indigenous South American groups, especially as a food source, but also in folk medicine and in community religious ceremonies.
