I have two hamsters, both Syrian, called Penny and Twopence. Hamsters can eat most fruit or vegetables with the exception of avocado and lettuce. So the answer to your question is yes, they can eat raisins.
I guess they could, but you should not feed hamsters raisins, they have WAY to much sugar. ~DNDWizard
Yes, raisins are dried white grapes and currants are dried black grapes, so you can substitute one for the other.

Yes, currants are a dried fruit. They are actually dried red seedless grapes.
Yes, you can substitute raisins or sultanas for currants in a fruitcake, though the flavor and texture may differ slightly. Raisins are larger and sweeter, while sultanas are plumper and juicier compared to currants. If using them as a substitute, consider adjusting the quantity to achieve the desired taste and moisture level in the cake.
Currants are found in most grocery stores as a dried fruit, and will be located by other dried fruits like raisins.

I assume you mean dried currants like you bake with. All Kroger's may not carry them but if the one you shop at does they should be with the raisins.
Raisins are the dried fruit dirivative of certain types of grape, as opposed to currants which come from types of grapes different from those used to make raisins; sorry, I don't know which grape type is which.
i think its called crowns up to 5.and its on the suger contint on there color and
It really depends on the hamster. Raisins seem to be a popular favourite and also cheese. Its not a good idea to feed a hamster a lot of cheese though because of the high salt content. You can buy special hamster chocolates which mine seemed to love, but you shouldn't feed them more than 5 a day.
