if u pickle jalapenos u make a hot pickle
"I'm in a pickle" is a way of saying "I'm in a difficult situation."
Cucumbers affect everyone relatively the same way -- of course! I have never heard of neither a fruit NOR a vegetable that affected one gender somehow and not the other. To me, it is inconceivable!
noticed a few of my cucumbers are curled at the end as they grow. Why?
Some aren't but for pickles like the dill, it's because they've been extremely marinated (soaked) in a dill, which is quite a sour spice Not to be disagreeable, but the dill is actually a very rich, green flavor. It is the vinegar in the brine that actually provides the sour notes.
Hunger (power/disire/want) is the best pickle (problem/situation). ::Hunger for power or disires is the best way to get you into a problem/situation/"pickle".

Cooking cucumbers can be tricky since they have a high water content and a mild flavor. To enhance their taste, you can lightly sauté them with olive oil, garlic, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper for just a few minutes until they're tender but still crisp. Alternatively, you can pickle them briefly in a vinegar solution with herbs and spices to add depth of flavor. This way, cucumbers can be a delicious addition to your dish rather than tasting bland.
the pickle ran through the door and was trapped no way out everybody cried when the pickle was eaten
Cucumbers (correct spelling) are the base vegetable used to make what we think of as pickles. They can be made sweet or "dill" based on the ingredients used with the base of vinegar that is the brine used to "pickle" the cucumber. Other vegetables can also be pickeled the same way. Sweet pickles have sugar and spices like cloves and corriander while dill pickles eliminate the sugar and use dill weed and dill seed in the mix.

Pickles are cucumbers. Cucumbers are vegatables. Yeah. they're actually baby cucumbers. No. Cucumbers are a fruit. My 2 cents: Most people don't seem to understand what fruits and vegetables are from a botanical standpoint versus a dietary (food groups) standpoint. Most people consider a tomato to be a vegetable dietary wise but it is a fruit botanically speaking. From a dietary (food groups) standpoint pickles/cucumbers could go either way IMO.
