You should not keep a betta with goldfish as their needs are different. Bettas are a tropical fish and do much better in water temperatures that are 78F to 80F, while that is too warm for a constant temperature in a goldfish tank
Goldfish produce large amounts of ammonia and are coldwater fish so I would recommend that you do not place together.
Betta fish are best as a solitary fish and are not compatible with goldfish.
yes because once i got a betta fish and i put in a tank with a gold fish the first day the betta killed the goldfish so i boult a nother goldfish it did not kill the goldfish because i put them in sepret tanks so that's what you guys should do it because i did it try it people your goldfish will not dy. my goldfish was a fin-nipper that's why it killed it because the goldfish ripped a fin off of the betta so do not put betta fish with goldfish because you never no if the goldfish is a betta.
Coldwater fish go with Goldfish (temperature under 70F). Tropical fish go with Bettas (temperature over 70F). Just make sure that you don't put any more than one Betta in a tank. So Bettas and tropicals don't go with Goldfish and vice versa.
No, betta fish are tropical fish; goldfish are coldwater fish, this should be reason enough not to mix the two. The mixing of these fish would be irresponsible and could yield distatorous results. One reason not to mix them would be because betta fish are quite small; most don't even reach 1/3 the size of a goldfish (even when full grown!) it makes them very likely to get bullied by the other fish. Fin nipping can be a major problem and is dangerous for the health of the fish. Do all your fish a favor by not mix betta fish with goldfish.
you can put a betta in a 5 gallon tank
Do not, no matter what put a goldfish and a betta together unless you want the goldfish to die!!!
Do not put any sharp angular things in the tank and do not put another type of fish in your betta's tank.
No, feeding a betta goldfish food is not recommended. Betta fish have specific dietary needs that are different from goldfish, and giving them the wrong type of food may not provide the necessary nutrients for their health and well-being. It is best to feed bettas a high-quality betta fish food to ensure they receive the proper nutrition.
No...betta fish are usually aggressive and might kill the angelfish.
You could, but it is very dangerous because the beta would eat the gold fish. 🐠🐟
No. The only thing that can go into a 1g tank is a betta, and that's barely okay. PLEASE don't put any number of goldfish in a 1g
A betta prefers warm water, where gold fish like cold water, also male bettas prefer to be by themselves, also a betta prefers a shallow water where gold fish prefer a deep tank, gold fish need a filter and bettas do not.
