No, a mussel or clam cannot be put in the same tank as a baby turtle. Baby turtles, as well as adult turtles will eat mussels and clams.
It is a clam.
No they will kill each other
No. Not unless you're prepared to take care of all the baby turtles they will have together.
Yes you can! In fact it is recommended that you do!
The homophone for "mussel" is "muscle." Both words sound the same but have different meanings.
Yes mussels and snails are in the same family.
The same as big sea turtles??? lol.....http://www.chocolatemintsinajar.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/baby_sea_turtle.jpg
Honestly, some turtles are nicer than others. That means, if a big turtle is real mean and gruff, it may bully other turtles. If it's a sweet and kind turtle, it probably won't. Same with baby turtles. I have four turtles. My oldest is kinda of rough but my second youngest won't take that kind of attitude; in fact, she'll dish it right back!
If by "clam" you mean a fresh water "Byvalve molusc" such as a Mussel. then yes they could both cohabit. But remember that the shellfish requires the same ratio of water as the fish too. So it would be reducing the amount of Oxygen available to the Betta. The base rule still applies. 1 inch of fish requires a minimum of 1 gallon of water.
They travel to the sea the minute they hatch from their eggs. All the baby turtles hatch at about the same time and the whole group will race to the water before predators come.
yes its basically the same name
no, stinpots are musk turtles not painted turtles
