Definately NO!. Neon tetras are Tropical fish. They come from the tropical waters of the Amazon river and need slightly acid water that has been heated to between 78F. and 85F. Goldfish are Cold water fish. They come originally from the cooler parts of China where the water never gets over 70F. They prefer their water temperature between 55F and 65F and neutral to slightly alkaline. If you put the two species together one or both species will not be getting what they need to survive for long.
