Guinea pigs hardly ever bite, they do bite if they're scared though ...or if they mistake your fingers for food!
Well from other resources they have to be very scared......!!!They can, but only one of the many guinea pigs I had as a child ever did. Several of my childhood friends had guinea pigs too, but I don't recall any of them being bitten.
This all depends on the guinea pig, most do not, but I can't speak for every animal. Usually if you get a younger one and treat it lovingly, they won't bite, just nibbled painfully. Most guinea pigs are very mild mannered. I've had 6 over my childhood and I've only been bitten once when one had a skin irritation and it barely broke the skin
It all depends on how you bring up your guinea pig, they don't have the nature of biting, but you COULD give that nature to them by not bringing them up well. Any abuse could lead to this.
From my experience, they rarely do bite. But if the guinea pig is upset or mad enough, yes, they will bite and they will make you bleed.
Usually, when you hand you finger to them, they just nibble at it.
Dont worry, it shouldnt happen often.
No. they are very friendly. they might give you a kiss though They can bite but a lot of them choose not to
By bad guinea pig do you mean it bites? A guinea pig will only bite if it feels threatened, scared or hurt.
it will squeek
If the guinea pig is not bleeding its okey but if it is then see your vet asap.
guinea pigs bite them self because they are itchy SO GIVE THEM A BATH
no you shouldn't be scared
no ive never known guinea pigs bite
matters if the guinea pig has rabies or is wild. my concern is make sure to go to the doctor and get it checked out just to be on the safe side
Depends if your sensitive or not. To me, it feels like a little nibble. But if you threaten a Guinea pig, they can go full-force bite on you. Just yesterday, I was feeding my guinea pig some spinich and I got to close to the spinich so it bite me, but it didn't bring blood. If you have a baby guinea pig, then it can hurt because their teeth hasn't been used to chew yet, bigger guinea pigs wont hurt as bad.
If a guinea pig bites, it may be feeling scared, threatened, or in pain. It's important to stay calm and gently remove your hand to avoid further bites. It's also a good idea to observe the guinea pig for any signs of illness or stress that may be causing the behavior.
most guinea pig bites dont need cleaning as they will lick them and are generally quite small however if your guinea pig does have a nasty wound that needs cleaning warm water will do the trick just give them a bath but dont have the water to deep until your guinea pig knows how to swim. (yes they can swim) if the wound doesnt seem any better or is particulary deep and open or becomes infected than take it to the vets.
Guinea pig rarely bites when they are threatened as a part of defense. In most case, they bite accidentally because they consider our fingers as their food.
it will rather lick you or bite you if it bites you its getting used to you. wait till it firmly licks you
