Yes, pumpkins do have rights. In 1903, a band of people who, for some mysterious reason, despised pumpkins, destroyed all the pumpkins in the top two pumpkin growing states, Illinois and California. It was just around Thanksgiving, and families everywhere could not make pumpkin pie for there was a scarce amount of pumpkins. Theodore Roosevelt, current president at the time, captured the band of pumpkin haters and threw them into prison. He made farmers everywhere regrow the pumpkin population. Then he informed every person in the US that pumpkins from then on, had rights. They were only to be grown in licensed areas and anyone who defaced the pumpkin area would be arrested. Therefore, yes, pumpkins do have rights.
