Jamaica has a warm, tropical climate being located in the Caribbean and places with this type of climate and vegetation such as palm trees will have coconuts. With Jamaica being a popular tourist destination, I would doubt they would be without coconuts!
Of course Jamaica has coconuts. I live in Jamaica and trust me their quite abundant too. We buy them every Sunday to make a special dinner. By The way I came across this question while doing homework. Our climate acts in the favor of those types of plants.
