I disagree with the above answer! I have a good friend who cannot chew gum, because the juice from it makes her stomach hurt AND my step son can only chew gum until it gets really juicy and then spits it out or, he too, gets a stomach ache! Yes! It can make your stomach hurt! I was actually looking on here to find out why when I ran across this answer!

Chewing Gum for long hours or on an empty stomach isn't good. When you chew you swallow and this prepares your intestines for digestion and when there's nothing more to digest only air and saliva fills your stomach causing your intestines to hurt from grinding 'nothing'. Try and chew for about an hour at most and give it a break or eat something before you chew again.
well pigs can probably eat bubble gum but they don't actually like eat it normally as every day food.
