Meat is supposed to be part of your daily diet. Before cooking just cut off the fatty area but too much; beef isn't good for your heart. But fish is very low in fat; you can have a lot of fish - not fried though. Chicken is low in fat. Pork isn't really that good for you in all. This may gross you out but there are worms in pork.

Seafood does contain fat, but it is a different kind of fat than that of red meat. Red meat is an excellent source of protein and iron. Lean red meats have less fat than poorer cuts. A balanced died should contain both lean red meat and seafood.
