Sweet potatoes primarily reproduce through vegetative propagation, specifically through the use of "slips," which are sprouted shoots that grow from the tubers. These slips can be planted directly into the soil to produce new plants. Additionally, sweet potatoes can also reproduce sexually through seeds, but this method is less common and often yields variable results due to the genetic diversity involved. Overall, vegetative propagation is the preferred method for cultivating sweet potatoes commercially.

The first thing you will want to do when cooking a sweet potato in a convectional oven is to preheat the oven to 375 and put the sweet potato in a baking pan. Cook the sweet potato for a half hour. Take the sweet potato out and stab it with a fork a couple of times. Cook the sweet potato for another half hour.
Baking or steaming adds nothing to a sweet potato. While steaming can take much longer, it produces a moister finish. Baking gives you many options for use, from diced to mashed.

Yes! It is possible to cook a sweet potato in the microwave. I have not conducted this experiment though i know that it is possible though the results may not be suitable for eating since if you take a sweet potato and plop it in the microwave whole, there is a large chance the outside wil get burnt and the inside cold or slightly warm. you are welcome :) Although its possible, its not advised since microwaves can destroy vitamins and minerals.
A potato is a tuber, a store of energy and a blueprint for the next seasons growth. When a potato is beginning to grow eyes appear on the skin, if planted it is the eyes that grow into a new plant. When the potato plant is fully grown it produces more potatoes ready for next seasons growth.
