I'm cooking some python meat today, actually. I have 2, 1lb packages of deboned packages of fresh python meat. I am going to cut the stakes into small chunks and saute them in some olive oil for about 5-7 minutes. Then I will add the meat to the wild boar meat I have and make chili out of it all. I have heard that the meat is a bit tough if not cooked long enough so I figure simmering in chili for a few hours will soften it right up.
