ive been looking for the same answer. i have tropical fish that need to be at 70 fehrenhiet minimum 80 highest so im going to put a thermal blanket around it and put hand warmers in a plastic bag and let it float in the tank. i have 9 fish and got them today its 10:15 so im putting the stuff in and on before i go to bed to be safe
A power outage is a short or long term loss of the electrical power in an area
Two things will depend on if your fish make it. How fast the water temperature goes down and how long the power outage lasts. They can survive, in a large tank of 55+ gallons, depending on the species, 12-24 hours without a heater. As long as the place that the tank resides is also was warm. Beyond that, it would be a crap shoot. Corals will not survive long at all without heat. A temperature drop of 2-5 degree will adversely affect any coral. Get a battery back up that is ground for a reef tank.
Yes, margarine is OK after a power outage, it will only soften. Margarine is made from water and oil. Butter is made from milk and would not last long without refrigeration.
In the event of a power outage, food can remain frozen for several days in an unopened freezer. When the power returns, it is important to inspect the foods for spoilage before eating them.
Who knows? Is there an expiration date? If not, check their website (if they have one.)
I believe 4 hours and 30 minutes.
Star fish can survive about 5 days out of water. Then they will die from Dehydration.
they survive because a storm is out of the water not inside of the water so as long as the fish is in the water the fish would be perfecly fine
The fish can live as long as about 2 years but if yo eat alive fish the fish will live for about 2 months.
they live for 5years or more
All of its life.
seconds my dude
