A huge number! Pecan's themselves have a high fat content, and the other ingredients (sugar and eggs) are high in calories too. Pecan Pie is usually made with short crust pastry which has a lot of fat and sugar in it, and served with cream or ice-cream = more calories.

And of course the size of the pie, the recipe used and the size of the slice will all effect the number of calories consumed.

Don't get too hung up on calories - have a small slice of pecan pie and savour the flavour. If you chew each mouthful thoroughly you'll probably find you feel satisfied sooner (one of the functions of fat is to give you a sense of fulness).

After you've eaten it cut back a bit at the next meal and during the next day and do some additonal exercise.
