How many people in the world like pie?

Who knows how many people call it a "Pizza pie," but I remember the first time I had one, way back in about 1955. My brother was home on leave from the Air Force, and he described one to us. He said it was round like a pie, and to serve it, you cut it into wedges like a pie. So naturally, it became a "pizza pie."

NO , traditional or modern pizza originated in Naples, Italy . But was made by the Ancient Greeks ; as is such it is actually a pita , that was covered in cheese, herbs, and oils ...... the sauce didn't get added to the recipe until it was reinvented in Naples . It was also served as a popular dish by the Romans and Hebrew .
