You can give your dog tuna in moderation, typically no more than one ounce per 10 pounds of body weight, and it should not exceed a few times a week. Tuna is high in Mercury, which can be harmful in large amounts. Always choose canned tuna in water without added salt or other seasonings, and consult your veterinarian if you're unsure about adding tuna to your dog's diet.
Tuna fish is OK for dogs - it is a good source of protein and unsaturated fatty acids that help support muscle development. However, tuna are predatory fish at the top of the food chain, so there is a risk of mercury poisoning if you feed too much tuna fish to your dog. There is also a slight risk that your dog may have a food allergy to tuna fish - if your dog develops unexplainable skin rashes, you should ask your veterinarian about this.

Feeding a small amount of plain, cooked tuna to your dog as an occasional treat is generally safe. However, tuna can be high in mercury, so it should not be a regular part of your dog's diet. Additionally, avoid feeding tuna packed in oil or with added salts or seasonings.

Some dogs can be allergic to tuna; if you suspect your dog has a tuna allergy, you should stop feeding it to him. Also, check your dog food to make sure tuna (or fish, if the species isn't identified) isn't one of the ingredients.

I think pretty much any dog would eat tuna. I know my Italian Mastiff/American Bulldog absolutely loves tuna fish!! She goes crazy for it. I would not recommend giving them a whole bowl full, but you could just test it out and see which ones like it and which ones do not.
Cottage cheese, fish(sardines tuna trout),and yogurt are the best.
The best fish to give your dog in moderation are ones that are cooked and boneless, such as salmon or whitefish. Avoid feeding your dog raw fish or fish with bones, as they can pose health risks. Always consult your vet before adding fish to your dog's diet to ensure it is safe and appropriate for your individual pet.
