AnswerYou shouldn't feed it everyday. it depends on what your feeding him and how much. if it is solid betta fish food a pinch and do that 3 times a week. and if you are feeding him fruit flies than 1or2 3x a week should also be good

I feed my male Betta fish 1-2 flakes of Betta fish food a day, but I think the male fish eat more than females. If you feed your fish pellets, it's also 1-2 pellets a day. I would read the dirrections on the container/bag that your fish food comes in though.

ask the store clerk at a petshop and they will tell you. that's where i found out my answeri use to feed mine at least 1 time a day any more then that u will cause health issues.. most pet stores say once a day.

I am not an expert. A friend gives his bettas 3 grains of food every other day. I always thought that was too little. Some sources I have read say that bettas are really pigs and you should feed them daily. I had one betta that lived a healthy life and that grew larger than most typical bettas; I fed him every day, and was careful to remove uneaten food after an hour or so. I'm in favor of letting the fish determine how much it should eat. I would give him dry pellets on most days, and now and then I treated him to dried blood worms (not fresh; they would probably introduce unwanted infections). He LOVED the blood worms, and would snap for them like there was no tomorrow. They can be VERY fussy, and go days without eating. I have read that this is normal and not cause for alarm.
