yes, im pretty sure they would eat the baby hamster. ants eat things 10x their size
Don't do anything, because the reason why the hamster is even eating the baby is because it is scared the baby will not live in the environment it is in, while your hamster is "eating" her baby, stay away from it so it doesn't get mad or freaked out. Don't worry,, it is normal for your hamster to be eating its baby, mine ate hers.ANSWER:_DON'T_WORRY,_DONT_DO_ANYTHING,_hope_i_helped:)">ANSWER: DON'T WORRY, DONT DO ANYTHING, hope i helped:)DONT DO ANYTHING OR THE HAMSTER WILL GET SCARED AND (it might get bloody in that cage)
Baby hamsters feed from their mother until they are 26 days old. It is recommended to separate the male and female hamsters afterwards to prevent fighting.
I would not attempt to pick up a baby hamster till it is eating on it's own. Hamsters are very quick to cannibalize their young if they in anyway fell threaten or of the babies are threatened. This includes the smell of the baby hamster changing in anyway.
They'll drink their mother's milk until they are old enough to eat hamster food, at which point they'll start eating it on their own.
No, probably not. A baby hamster is like a normal hamster, only smaller, and a baby. But my hamster used to bite me a lot and I didn't get infected. so, no you won't.
Cuz they're freaks.
