no, just the mother and the babies would be best. the male could eat the babies or hurt them. Or the mother and father could fight at some stage.
Also you should never leave a male and a female hamster in the same cage unsupervised because even if they get on really well, you never know if they could start fighting or annoying each other.
Typically, hamsters do not do well in groups, even if they are same-sex. They should be seperated soon after they are weaned. ...especially if you notice fighting, it will only get worse. The exception to that rule is with dwarf hamsters....they often like to be in groups.
It is not suggestable as the boy hamster may harm the babies.
well if you are interested in breeding hamsters. I herd that you should leave a boy hamster in the cage with the girl hamster for 2 week then take him out then she should have them in 30 days or less. :)
Leave it go! Hamsters are meant to do this with no help at all. Itt is there instint
haha um just get your hamster out? dont leave your pet in a wall!
Leave the babies alone. Hamsters are known for cannibalizing their babies if they are handled before they are starting to wean.
no your hamster is fine just clean the cage and take care of the new ones?oh and disinfect the cage before you romaine the other hamsters
You have to get place a bowl of food in the hamsters cage. Clean every other day and make you sure you leave it somewhere accessible to the hamster.
Hamsters or guinea pigs chatter their teeth because they are happy, what food, they are scared or intimidated. If that answers your questions I just had a guinea pig for a pet.
well no and yes, if you make any hamster mad or unhappy they might bite if your hamsters ears are laid back ( not from just waking up) then you might want to leave your hamster alone. If your hamster is making a chittering nose then your or any hamster is annoyed also hamster rarely bite unless they are new to your home.
Its best just to leave the hamster be and not mess up their diets and cause other problems like diarrhea. Aditional vitamins can be bought which can be added to the hamsters water, but I found when I tried this my hamster stopped drinking the water, which is crucial at this time.
Well depending on the hamster breed and age, probably not. They may think it's food and choke on it. So I advice you do not leave your hamster alone with yarn.
