According to another question i looked up that was similier bases taste bitter. Acids taste sour. I'm not really sure about the salt but i would think you would be able to tell what salt tastes like yourself.
Acids taste sour; bases normally taste bitter.
it is a base because it tastes bitter. now if it was an acid it would taste sour and not bitter like a base.

A bitter taste is typically associated with bases. Bases have a bitter taste and feel slippery, unlike acids which have a sour taste.
A base typically has a bitter taste.
A sour taste typically indicates acidity, while a bitter taste often signifies a base. The presence of hydrogen ions in acidic substances can lead to a sour taste, whereas the presence of hydroxide ions in basic substances can result in a bitter taste.
One way to determine if something is an acid or a base without testing is to consider its properties. Acids usually have a sour taste, can react with metals to produce hydrogen gas, and turn blue litmus paper red. Bases typically have a bitter taste, feel slippery, and turn red litmus paper blue.
It tastes sour. Other tastes are sweet, bitter and salty. Bitter is alkaline, the opposite of acid in Ph. And salty is the combination of an acid and a base (alkaline), which is a salt.
