Hamsters are NOT asexual organisms (eg. chickens). They are mammals. They rely on a male to have babies.
You shouldn't keep a dwarf in a cage.
Dwarf hamsters tend to nip more and can live with multiple hamsters in a cage.
no
yes
No, they tend to fight.
A few years back I owned three Chinese Dwarf Hamsters, but there are different types of dwarf hamsters, e.g Russian Dwarf Hamsters. However, if you are thinking of getting dwarf hamsters, I don't recommend putting them in the same cage, as when I had my three, one of them ended up seriously injuring the other one.
Well my hamsters never eat out of the cage, dont know why but they never do its nothing to worry about
You may have 4 dwarf hamsters in a cage but not Syrian hamsters because they will either fight to their death! Or mate.....
A dwarf hamsters cage can be the same as a regular hamsters'. Metal bars always work! My cousins have dwarf hamsters and they have an aquarium and a metal bar cage connected with plastic tubes. Although they prefer the aquarium more than the metal bar cage they still use the metal bar cage a ton! Hope I helped! :)
no, teddy bear hamsters are very territorial and will fight the other hamster.
Two hamsters sharing a cage is not recommended unless they're dwarf boy hamsters as they will quite certainly fight to the death and then the hamster that won will eat it, so, No-not a good idea!
Most of the time, i have 2 Chinese dwarf hamsters kept in the same cage and they are fine, Hope This Helps
