Pleasde help me i have just got a Syrian hamster and he keeps jumping off my hands whenever i try to handle him i mean really big jumps no matter how high it is what should i do?

your hamster is obviously scared of humans and will get away at any cost. try just patting it and exposing it to humans without too much handling
