Lemons can also be used to flavor foods and make wonderful decorations. The acid and flavor of lemons are well-known to brighten many otherwise heavy dishes. They accompany fish or seafood dishes particularly well, but are often used in Mediterrean cooking and other cuisines as well.

A fruit bowl full of lemons makes a wonderful and aromatic centerpiece and brightens any table. Dried lemon peels provide a colorful addition to homemade potpourri, and whole fresh lemons along with Oranges, studded with whole cloves, make beautifully fragrant decorations at the holidays.
