If it's the only car you have, YES! If you're trying to show that even pizza can be delivered in a cool ride like a Mustang GT, YES again! If the pizza flies out of the box and lands on the carpet, the dash and the passenger's seat 'cuz you were showing off doing donuts in an intersection, well, then NO a Mustang GT would not be a good car for someone to deliver a pizza in.
If i were you i would forget about it. v6 Mustang trannies aren't built to handle the torque and horsepower a v8 puts out. You would probably risk doing serious damage to your car if you did that swap. Check eBay for a tranny for your v8. I own a 2003 Pony Package V6 Mustang and i plan on doing an entire overhaul on my car and will be changing everything to do with the stock powertrain. Doing a burnout on any vehicle will do some damage, as it was not typically designed for that sort of treatment, and will certainly shorten the life of some (possibly very expensive) tires. Whether doing a burnout on a specific model of Cat would cause damage would depend on the model.

It may not ruin your tires, but it will cause premature wear and can cause stress if you impact anything (including ice chunks, curbs, etc) while doing doughnuts and may cause a blowout. The tires typically get heated beyond normal operating temperatures while doing things of this nature and that can contribute to premature wear and stress-related damages. It also causes excessive stress on the transmission and drive axles on the vehicle.
