We have a family spice called Babunya's Gourmet Spice. It's been in our family for five generations. My 87 year old mom is the face on our products. Our blended spices are All Natural, Gluten Free, with no MSG, no preservatives, or additives. It comes in three flavors:
ORIGINAL (has no heat just great taste)
MILD (some heat)
HOT ( a bit more heat)
We blend all of our spices ourselves in Pennsylvania. They are great not only on chicken, but also steaks, pork, fish, lamb, All Game Meats, as well as soups, salads, and vegetables.
If you go to our website www.babunyas.com and click on Video Recipe you can watch some of my mom's favorite dishes, and see exactly how to make them. Thanks for letting me share!
Some good steak seasoning products are: Omaha Steak Seasoning, McComrick Montreal Steak Seasoning, KC Masterpiece Steakhouse Marinade, Bobby's World Famous Steak Rub.
Canadian Steak Seasoning is also commonly know as Montreal Steak Seasoning and is purveyed by various spice manufacturers. Commonly available blends are produced by McCormick and Tome's. Ingredients typically consist of a coarse blend of salt, red pepper, black pepper, mustard, paprika extracts, onion, garlic, dill, and other spices. McCormick's Montreal Steak seasoning is a preferred and commonly available brand.
To season a swordfish steak for optimal flavor, you can use a swordfish steak seasoning blend that typically includes ingredients like salt, pepper, garlic, lemon zest, and herbs like thyme or parsley. Simply coat the swordfish steak with the seasoning blend before cooking, and consider adding a squeeze of lemon juice for extra flavor. Grill or pan-sear the steak until cooked to your desired doneness.
A combination of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and rosemary is a popular choice for seasoning sous vide steak, as it enhances the flavor and tenderness of the meat.
I use garlic powder, steak seasoning, italian seasonings, onion powder, and curry.
Yes I have also used it on a sirloin roast, grilled and sliced for fajitas. Wipe steak off with paper towel, evoo and then seasoning, poke with a fork and repeat to the other side. Char grilled until medium and take off and let sit for 5 minutes. After that slice thin and serve in your fajitas.
A great rice to pair with steak is garlic butter rice, as its rich flavor complements the savory taste of the meat. Additionally, a wild rice blend can provide a nutty texture that enhances the steak's depth. For a lighter option, consider a lemon herb rice, which adds brightness and freshness to the meal. Ultimately, the choice depends on your personal preference and the steak's seasoning.
Production discontinued in 1992. No longer made, but McCormick's Perfect Pinch Steak Seasoning is a great alternative. Perfect for pork chops.
To grill the perfect steak, experts recommend preheating the grill, seasoning the steak generously, using a meat thermometer to check for doneness, letting the steak rest before slicing, and practicing proper grill maintenance for even cooking.
Make sure the steak is at room temperature before you cook it. Cook the steak at a high enough temperature. Rest the steak for 5-10 minutes after cooking in a warm, covered vessel. Choose a good cut of meat. The more fat 'marbling' the meat has, the more moist and tender the steak will be, choose a steak with a nice bright red color, and once you push it down it should feel firm, not spongy. There is no need to put any sauces (except Au Jus) on a high quality steak, you can put cajun seasoning if you want. Best seasoning for a steak is Lawry's ® Seasoned Salt.
Seasoning steak before cooking is very important to enhance its flavor. The seasonings help to bring out the natural flavors of the meat and make it more delicious.
Popular recipes for cooking sous vide steak include seasoning the steak with salt, pepper, and herbs, vacuum-sealing it, and cooking it in a water bath at a precise temperature for a specific amount of time. After cooking, the steak is seared in a hot pan or on a grill for a crispy exterior.
