How did eroupeans change chocolate?
Europeans brought over chocolate from where it was most commonly
grown in the Central and South American countries. At this time,
cocoa was commonly made into bitter drinks, similar to hot
chocolate. In Europe, cocoa was first turned into chocolate using a
Dutch Cocoa Press. Sweetners like sugar, milk, and honey were added
to make chocolate more appealing. Chocolate was soon commonly
traded and used in things such as desserts.
