There are several ways in which the government help farmers in the Bahamas. Firstly, it decreases the unemployment rate, providing more Bahamians with jobs, which in turn will increase their income leading to affording more food and water, sending more children to school and other things that the income would have an effect on them. Also as still a major aspect, Bahamians can grow profit from exports of the produce through many methods such as trading and selling.

Farmers in the Bahamas can improve poor soil quality by implementing sustainable farming practices such as crop rotation, cover cropping, and composting. Additionally, utilizing organic fertilizers and reducing the use of chemical inputs can help improve soil health and fertility over time. Participating in soil conservation programs and seeking advice from agricultural experts can also assist farmers in addressing soil degradation issues.

Sometimes they give out subsidies which are available for Bahamian farmers in the form of interest-free loans for the purchase of supplies on a wide range of products, including building suppliers, processing materials and farm trucks. Usually they hold, lease and dispose of agricultural land, because some farmers don't have a land to farm on and some farmers land are too small. The more the land the more the crops can increase. For example they gave about 13,869 acres of land to Andros, about 11,737 acres of land to Abaco and about 10,542 acres of land to Grand Bahama. Also the Government gave money to some farmers because some farmers don't have enough money to afford the supplies they need to have a proper farm. For example wheel barrels, tractors and other vehicle era very expensive. Another thing they allow them to sue. These days' people are coming on your farm and picking your crops without permission to do it. So if they keep doing it there will be no more left for the farmers to get any. Lastly, they support them with fertile soil, because some land areas don't have very good soil and the crops will be unable to grow. They are unable to grow because the soil is hard, barren, and don't have enough nutrients for the crops to grow

The Bank of the United States, particularly the Second Bank established in 1816, primarily focused on stabilizing the national currency and managing federal funds rather than directly facilitating loans to farmers. However, it did provide credit and financial services that indirectly benefited agriculture by supporting state banks, which could then extend loans to farmers. The federal government did implement various programs over the years to assist farmers, but these were not directly through the Bank of the United States.
