Ingredients1 1/2 lb Cauliflower12 oz Primo cabbage8 oz Water chestnuts8 oz Pineapple slices1 ts Cornstarch1 ts Brown sugar2 tb Malt vinegar1 tb Soy sauce1 tb Water1 tb Tomato paste2 ts SherryTrim the outer leaves & stalk from the cauliflower. Divide into small florets, shred the leaves, wash & drain. Discard any discoloured cabbage leaves, cut cabbage into 1/4 slices, wash & drain. Drain the chestnuts & slice thinly. Drain the pineapple (if canned) & reserve the juice. Cut rings into eighths. Cook the cauliflower & cabbage in boiling, salted water for 4 minutes. Drain well. Blend cornstarch & sugar with the remaining ingredients. Place in a pan with the water chestnuts, pineapple chunks & juice. Bring to a boil & simmer for 3 minutes. Pour sauce over the cauliflower & cabbage. Stir well, cover & allow to cool.

cut the cauliflower in pieces ( be careful not to cut into the white flower) just take the green bottom off first, then you separate the white pieces (not too small) put in pan with the water covering the veggie bring to boil with a little lemon juice (1tsp) and a dash of salt , cook for about 10 min or tender to the touch when pricked with a fork. If you want you can make a cheese sauce to cover or melted butter. YUM!!
