The Goodrich family started the ice cream shop that first opened in 1932 when going out for ice cream was a special treat. By the 80's, the Goodrich ice cream chain shops grew to more than 50 outlets in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri, earning over $18 million dollars overall.
By 1995, the family decided to sell all but three company-owned stores to independent Goodrich investers. Now Goodrich has been able to spread all over the U.S.
